I cleared my SBI PO exam on the very first attempt. On 30th March 2021, my probationary period started. After I fixed banking as my career I asked my peers and seniors about which banking institution to go for. Everyone suggested that I take ICD Kollam. I came across your website and enrolled in online coaching. Since both my parents were working as government servants, from my childhood onwards I was keen to become a public servant.
As I completed my graduation I came across many opportunities like SSC, PSC, and banking. I chose to bank because it was a prestigious job and provided me with great growth opportunities. Before joining ICD Kollam my preparation procedure was attempting more and more mock tests along with my traditional way of learning.
But when I arrived I saw the way of looking at my questions completely changed. I was going through a transition period and it helped me in a lot of ways. The best part was my ability to look for questions in a different manner and approach. In ICD Kollam I got to learn about various shortcut tips and tricks. My weak subject was English. It improved a lot after I got associated with ICD Kollam. I believe ICD Kollam played a major role in achieving my success.

I started my preparation in August. The first exam that came across my way was the IBPS PO examination which was during October first week. I had a very short time with me for my preparation. The main strategy followed was doing more and more mock tests. In this way, I could solve more and more questions and improve my time efficiency and accuracy. The online session for the ICD Kollam app- UDYOG SEVA was very helpful. I did my questions and for the solution, I look for in the video solutions provided in the app.
In the quantitative section, the video solutions from Ramesh sir and Shamim sir were helpful. They taught me many shortcut methods which came in handy during my prelims and mains exam. For the English section, classes from Krishna Sir were very helpful.
Once I started preparing for the bank examination. I reduce the amount of time spent on my leisure activities. I reduced my time spent on social media apps like Facebook and Instagram. I blocked my Instagram too to not get distracted.

My SBI PO feelings were on 4th January. It was a very good experience for me. I had done many mock tests so I was confident that I could crack the exam this time itself and I did well in my prelims exam. I attempted 78 questions and I scored 73 marks. I was really happy with my performance and started preparing for my mains examination after prelims. After the results were out I got qualified for the mains exam.
The main exam was on the 29th of January and I had a lot of things to cover. During prelims preparation, I started with my general awareness and banking awareness sections, so those were not a tough nut to crack for me during my mains preparation. The main area that I focused more on during the mains preparation was the quantitative aptitude and reasoning section.

My experience regarding the mains examination is that even though I appeared for various mock tests, the real exam was a bit tough and somehow I scored really good marks. I got 125 marks out of 250. Interview preparation was a bit tougher for me because I did not appear for any interviews before. Mr. Jayakrishna sir helped me to overcome my stage fear and my problems with the interview. During my interview session, I did not attend any mock interview but he gave me many tips and tricks for facing the same.
The main suggestion given by Jayakrishna sir was, being true to what you say and being honest with yourself.
My interview was on 1st March. Interviewers were a bit serious and were seated circularly. I was a bit nervous at the beginning but once the interview started they asked me questions about my personal life and I felt comfortable answering them. They ask me questions related to banking awareness and mechanical engineering. I was confident while answering them. I was happy and satisfied with my answers and hope to score good marks in the interview. As per my belief, I scored very good marks and got selected as an SBI PO.
Since my exam was during the covid-19 pandemic, I opted for the online session. I doubted whether I could get the full benefit of it. But after joining ICD Kollam, all my views were proved wrong. The online platform of ICD Kollam- UDYOG SEVA came in handy for my preparation. It is arranged chronologically based on toughness. This test preparation helped me a lot during the exam journey. I cleared my prelims only with the help of the ICD Kollam app- UDYOG SEVA and from the online platform of ICD Kollam.”
