FSSAI, under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has invited applications for the various posts vacancies in Direct Recruitment basis. It is a good opportunity for all the interested aspirants who are willing to build up their career ladder in the Food Regulatory System of India.

The work of FSSAI is to lay down science based standards for articles of foods. They are also assigned the duty to regulate the manufacture, storage, distribution, sale, and import. They ensure that the food are safe and available for human consumption.

Eligibility Criteria

  • A candidate must be either-
  • A citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Bhutan, or
  • A subject of Nepal, or
  • Tibetian refugee who came to India 01.01.1962, and has permanently settled in India.
  • A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Uganda, Malawi, Zaire, Zambia, Ethiopia, Vietnam, East African countries of Kenya, and the United republic of Tanzania, and has permanently settled in India.

Application free and Intimation charges

General/OBC: Rs, 1500/- (1000 Application Fee + 500 Intimation Charges)

Others: Rs: 500/- (0 Application Fee + 500 Intimation Charges)

  • Short listing of candidates for CBT stage 2 will be in the ratio 1:20.
  • Short listing of candidates for Interview will be in the ratio 1:5 among those who cleared CBT stage 2.
  • Short listing of candidates for proficiency in Short hand and Typing for the postal personal assistant will be in the ratio 1:5.

  1. Food laws and Standards of India and International Food Laws.(4 questions × 2.5 marks)
  2. Planning Organization and setting up of Food Analysis Laboratory including NABL/ISO/IEC:17025:2017, and laboratory safety(4 questions × 2.5 marks)
  3. Physical, Chemical, and Instrumental analysis(4 questions × 2.5 marks)
  4. Case studies for interpretation and providing opinion based on an analysis report as per FSSAI 2011(4 questions × 2.5 marks)

 

Technical Officer Computer Based Test ( Stage 1): 180 minutes duration with 120 MCQ questions.

4 marks each for every correct answer and reduction of 1 mark for every wrong answer.
