The SSC CGL Recruitment 2021 Notification is Out
The SSC CGL Recruitment exam is conducted for the post of Non-technical Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ non gazetted officers and staff in various departments/ ministries/ organizations of the Government of India. SSC CGL is the abbreviation for Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level Exam, which is conducted to recruit candidates for Group B and Group C. A total number of 6506 vacancies are released for this session. The SSC CGL 2020 Application Filing Process is going to be started from 29th December 2020 which will continue till 31st January 2021.

The Commission has announced the SSC CGL 2021 vacancies for 2020 – 21. A total number of 6506 vacancies are released for the recruitment to different posts in government departments. The category-wise vacancies will be released soon. Below are the post-wise vacancy details.

SSC CGL 2021 Eligibility Criteria:-
- Assistant Audit Officer/AAO (Assistant Accounts Officer) – Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University.
- Junior Statistical Officer – Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard. OR Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
- Statistical Investigator Grade-II – Bachelor‟s Degree in any subject with Statistics (Compulsory Subject in three years) as one of the subjects from a recognized University or Institute.
- All other Posts – Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.

SSC CGL Exam Pattern & Selection Procedure
The SSC CGL Selection Procedure comprises of four stages which are as follows-
- Tier-I (Computer Based Exam)
- Tier-II (Computer Based Exam)
- Tier-III (Descriptive Exam)
- Tier-IV Data Entry Skill Test/Computer Proficiency Test/DV
SSC CGL 2021 Tier 1
It is a computer-based online test of 200 marks which is to be performed in 60 minutes of time duration. There is a negative marking of 0.50 Marks for each wrong answer. There is no sectional cut off.

SSC CGL 2021 Tier 2
This is an online exam consisting of 4 papers as mentioned in the table. There is no sectional cut off. The negative marking for each wrong answer as follows: Paper I, Paper III & Paper IV – 0.5 marks and Paper-II – 0.25 marks

SSC CGL 2021 Tier 3
This is a descriptive type paper of 100 marks and will be conducted in Pen and Paper mode. It will be a total of 60 minutes of time duration.
SSC CGL 2021 Tier 4
Tier-IV of the SSC CGL 2021 Recruitment Examination is Data Entry Skill Test (DEST)/Computer Proficiency Test (CPT). This test is of qualifying nature. The DEST test is for the Tax Assistant Post only.
The merit list will be prepared on the overall performance of the student in Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III but you have to qualify all the tiers (i.e Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III) separately.
