- Prelims exam is purely based on an objective test which consists of 100 marks. Each question is of 1 marks and also has negative marking for wrong answers with a penalty of 0.25 marks.
- There are 3 sections English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and the total duration of the exam is 1 hour which covers all the 3 sections.
- Similarly, the Mains exam is also divided into four sections with multiple-choice questions. There are a total of 155 questions where each question is of 1 marks and also has negative marking for wrong answers with a penalty of 0.25 marks.
- In the Prelims exam, Time is the key factor that we have to keep in mind as the time allotted for each section is 20 minutes.
- There is no compulsion to solve each and every question in these exams. Try to solve that question first which is easy and less time-consuming.
- Focus on the familiar questions to solve them accurately to save time.
- Don’t attempt a question that is very difficult and time-consuming.
- Relax during the exam as in the examination center the atmosphere is not comfortable because of the stress of the exam, so don’t think too much, just breathe and relax.
